Omera Trimming & Beading Machines
Trimming of Rectangular Deep Drawn Parts
Often these parts are difficult or expensive to trim in a press.
Utilizing an Omera T/B machine provides a simple, efficient and inexpensive method to obtain flat, square trimmed edges that are almost burr free.
Edge Curling of Rectangular Deep Drawn Parts
After the part has been trimmed, it is possible to form a Curl profile on the trimmed edge. The curl can be horizontal or vertical to the pan wall. Profiles are dependant on the material type and thickness.
Lock-Seaming Two Parts Together
This Operation is a very good alternative to other fastening or welding of two parts into one assembly. Faster and less expensive than welding, Lock-Seaming is used to fold either three or five material thicknesses into one leak proof joint. In this example, the bottom and side wall of a tea kettle are lock Seamed to form a watertight joint.
